1. Wellness and relaxation only

All massage and spa therapies offered by Mitram Thai Spa — including traditional Thai massage, aroma oil massage, deep tissue massage, Balinese massage, Swedish massage, foot reflexology, head, neck & shoulder massage and couple spa — are provided purely for relaxation, comfort and general wellbeing.

Our therapists are trained in massage technique. They are not doctors, physiotherapists or licensed medical practitioners, and nothing they say during a session should be taken as a medical opinion, diagnosis, prescription or treatment plan.

2. Not a medical service

Nothing on this website or at our premises is intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition. Massage is not a replacement for medical care, physiotherapy, medication or any treatment prescribed to you.

3. Please consult your doctor

Consult a qualified medical practitioner before booking a session if you have, or think you may have, any of the following:

• heart conditions, high or low blood pressure, or a history of stroke;
• diabetes, blood clotting disorders, or are on blood-thinning medication;
• a recent injury, fracture, surgery or an unhealed wound;
• slipped disc, severe back or spine problems, osteoporosis, or severe varicose veins;
• skin infections, allergies or sensitivity to oils and aromatic products;
• pregnancy or a recent delivery;
• fever, an infectious illness, cancer, or any other serious medical condition.

Please also tell your therapist about any such condition before the session starts, so the therapy and the pressure can be adjusted or, where necessary, declined for your own safety.

4. Results vary

How a massage feels and how much relief it gives differs from person to person. It depends on your body, your health, your lifestyle and the therapy you choose. We make no promise or guarantee of any particular outcome, level of relief, or duration of benefit. Any experience described on this website is illustrative and should not be read as a guaranteed result.

5. Possible after-effects

Mild soreness, tenderness, tiredness or light-headedness can occur after a massage, especially after deep tissue work. This is normal and usually passes within a day or two. If you feel unwell, experience pain, or notice any unusual reaction after a session, please stop and seek medical advice promptly.

6. Your responsibility

You avail our services voluntarily and at your own risk. You are responsible for disclosing relevant health information accurately and for telling your therapist immediately if anything feels uncomfortable during the session so that it can be adjusted or stopped.

7. Strictly a professional spa

Mitram Thai Spa is a professional wellness establishment serving guests aged 18 and above. We do not offer any service of an immoral or unlawful nature, and any such request will lead to the session being ended immediately and service being permanently refused.

We make every effort to keep the information on this website accurate and current, including service descriptions, hours and our Flat 20% OFF offer. However, we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or always up to date, and details such as prices, offers, hours and available therapies may change without prior notice.
